15: Little Nuisance, Big Relief

Happy Monday!

Last week I published “How to Squeeze Every Last Drop of Value Out of Your Old Content”. If you’re a fellow creator, it’s important to make the most out of everything you create and all of your hard work behind it. This post teaches you how. I’d greatly appreciate any claps or shares you can give it 😊.

In this week’s newsletter, we’re going with a “healthy”/simplicity them.

Enjoy.

🥗 Little Nuisance, Big Relief

Yesterday afternoon, I muttered three (very fitting) words that described how I was feeling at the time:

“I’m on cloud nine right now.”

The sun was shining, my belly was full of delicious breakfast bagel (courtesy of Sully’s Steamers), and my 1-year-old Aussie Shepherd finally transitioned to adult kibble.

For the gf and me, this relatively small transition was a game-changer in our daily routine. We have two dogs. A 9-year-old chow and said Aussie Shep. Every day, twice a day, we fed them two different types of kibble (adult and puppy chow) from two separate containers.

But yesterday? We ditched the other container and now they both get the same adult food. It was a glorious afternoon as I scooped out the kibble from the same container and portioned it into their bowls.

In total, it probably only saves us five minutes a day. More importantly though, it saves us the mental “ugh” from having to scoop from two separate containers. It makes our lives just a tiny bit simpler.

I’ve come to greatly appreciate anything, no matter how small, that makes my life easier to manage. Headspace is a premium these days, and all those little things add up.

It’s funny that a win like that is enough to put me on cloud nine for the rest of the afternoon. I wonder what other little nuisances I can shed that might do the same.

There’s a good chance you’ve got a bunch of them too.

What’s one little thing that could free up some headspace and make your life easier? Try to implement that today.

Have a good (no, GREAT) week.

Best,

Jason
